Our Faith Statement: What we Believe…
The Bible: The infallible Word of God, final authority in all matters of faith and practice, the sixty-six Books of the Old and New Testaments. Verbally inspired in all parts and therefore wholly without error as originally given of God. (II Timothy 3:16 & 2 Peter 1:21
The One True God: Existing eternally as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Luke 3:22, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14
The Holy Spirit: He is God (Acts 5:3-4), He indwells and regenerates every believer (1 Corinthians 12:13, Romans 8:9), He fills each believer (Ephesians 5:18), He gives gifts to His children (Ephesians 4:4-7, 11:13, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, 11, 14:26)
The Lord Jesus Christ: Hi existed eternally (John 1:1-3), He was born by a virgin (John 1:14, Matthew 1:18-23), He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), He died a substitutionary death (1 Corinthians 5:21), He rose from the grave (Luke 24:36-43), He ascended into heaven (Hebrews 4:14-16), He is coming again (Acts 1:11)
The Church: There is only one true church, the Body and Bride of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23), the church is composed of all true believers of this present age (1 Cointhians 12:12-13), who organize the local members for worship for unification of believers and for worldwide gospel witness and outreach. Each local church is autonomous but cooperating in fellowship and work (Ephesians 4:11-16).
Man: Man is a direct creation of God in God’s own image for the purpose of fellowship and intimate relationship with God (Gensis 1:26-28), Man fell into sin resulting in spiritual death (Genesis 3: 1-24, Romans 5:12), This spiritual death reveals the necessity of the new birth for His salvation (John 3:3-5)
