Our Doctrinal Beliefs.
The Bible.
The Bible is the infallible Word of God, which is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired in all their parts and therefore, wholly without error as originally inspired of God (2Tim.3:16).
THE ONE TRUE GOD.
Existing eternally as three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Lk.3:22, Mat.28:19, 2Cor.13:14).
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
His preexistence and deity - We believe in the deity of Jesus, the second person of the Godhead, being equal to the Father (Jn.1:1-3).
Incarnation by virgin birth - We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus whereby Jesus became man (Jn.1:14), and lived a sinless life (Heb.4:15).
We believe in the substitutionary death of Jesus in our place (2Cor.5:2).
We believe in His bodily resurrection (Lk.24:36-43), His ascension into heaven, His present ministry (Heb.4:14-16), and His coming again (Acts 1:11).
MAN.
is God’s direct creation in the image of God (Gen.1:26-28). His subsequent fall into sin resulted in spiritual death (Gen.3:2-24), and the necessity of the new birth for his salvation (Jn.3:3-5).
THE HOLY SPIRIT.
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells each believer at the moment of regeneration (1Cor.12:11).
SALVATION.
Is a complete and eternal salvation by God’s grace alone, received as the gift of God through the repentance of sin and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work (Eph.2:8-9, Titus 3:5-7, 2Pet.3:9)I
We believe the Holy Spirit fills each believer and empowers them for living a godly life of:
1. Worship
2. Victory
3. Righteousness
THE CHURCH.
One true church, the body and bride of Christ (Eph.1:22-23). This body (the Church) is composed of all true believers of the present age, (1Cor.12:12-13)
4. Service
(Eph.3:16, Acts1:18, Gal.5:22-23)
We believe that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the church today
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead equal to the Son and Father (Jn.16:7-15, Acts 5:3-4).
ORDINANCES.
We observe two ordinances of our Lord Jesus Christ: Baptism (Mat.28:19) and The Lord’s Supper (1Cor.11:23-26). We also believe in the dedication of children to the Lord by believing parents (Eph.6:4).
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE.
A life of righteousness, good works and separation unto God from evil ways and practices of the world (Rom.12:1-2). This is seen in the Christian;
*Manifested by speaking the truth (Ja.5:12).
SATAN.
His existence and personality as the great adversary of God and His people (Rev.12:1-10).
* His judgment (Jn.12:31).
* His final doom (Rev.20:10).
* Maintaining the sanctity of the home (Eph.5:22, 6:4).
* Settling differences between Christians according
to the Word of God (1Cor.1-8).
* Not engaging in carnal strife but showing a Christ-like attitude toward all men (Rom.12:17-21)
* Exhibiting the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal.5:22-30)
* Maintaining a life of prayer (Eph.5:18-21).
* Service in the church.
FUTURE LIFE.
The conscious existence of the dead (Phil.1:21-23).
* The resurrected body (Jn.5:28-29).
* The judgment and the eternal punishment of the lost (Mat.25:46, Rev.20:15).
CHRIST’S SECOND COMING.
The personal, visible and imminent return of Christ to remove His church from the earth (1Thes.4:16-17).
* Before the tribulation (1THes.1:10).
* Afterward to descend with the church to establish His
millennial kingdom upon the earth (Rev.19:11-20:6).
