Our Purpose…

Our Purpose Statement: Why we exist?

Living Hope Fellowship exists to help restore people to a place of wholeness and well being (“Shalom”) to our Heavenly Father through His ministries of: F.A.I.T.H.

Everything in God’s created world has a purpose for living. There is not one living thing that does not have a purpose. LHF has a purpose to reach this community for the Lord Jesus Christ and to bring Hope to this community through the living Lord Jesus Christ.

Living Hope:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (1Peter 1:3-5).

Fellowship:

“What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, that you also may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write so that our joy may be made complete” (1 John 1:3-4).

F- Forgiveness offered through the son of God:

“In Him (Jesus) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7)

Evangelism

A -Acceptance offered from God’s family:

“Beloved, let us love one another for love is from God” (1 John 4:7)

“Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

Fellowship

I- Involvement offered from God’s family:

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10)

Ministry

T- Truth offered from God’s Word:

“Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth” (John 17:17)

“Jesus therefore was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free… If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed” (John 8:31-32, 36)

Discipleship

H- Honors God’s name:

“I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship” (Romans 12:1)

“Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for Thou didst create all things, and because of Thy will they existed, and were created” (Revelations 4:11)
